Anthem Medicare Bonus
Starting with 7/1/2022 through 12/1/2022 effective dates, you can earn more for each Anthem Medicare Supplement (Medigap) plan G and N sold to a newly eligible beneficiary during their Medigap Open Enrollment Period. You can earn an even larger bonus ($400!) when you sell underwritten plans!
Optima Vendor Changes
Optima has made the strategic decision to change their pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) from OptumRx® to Express Scripts (ESI) and their vision services vendor from Eyemed to VSP Vision Care (VSP) for all lines of business, effective January 1, 2023 (regardless of the group’s effective date).
Members will experience a seamless transition; all active pre-authorizations will automatically transfer to the new vendors. Before January 1, 2023, Optima will issue new member ID cards to reflect the new pharmacy vendor information. Optima will continue to use Proprium Pharmacy for specialty tier 4 medications.
