Important Information Regarding Anthem Renewal Fees and Your Appointment Status in VA

Under the regulation of the Virginia Bureau of Insurance, insurance carriers are required to pay an appointment renewal fee every year for their active appointed agents and agencies. The agent agreement permits Anthem to pass the cost of the appointment renewal fee and any processing fees on to the agent. Anthem is again passing these costs on to you as the broker due to the size of your book of business. 

To remain an appointed broker with Anthem in Virginia for July 2022 through June 2023, you must pay your appointment renewal fee by June 10, 2022 using this NoMoreForms link.

When accessing the online payment link above, you will be prompted to provide your Reference Number. The Reference Number is located in the communication you should have received directly from Anthem either via mail or email.
